The Las Canteras beach of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria has renewed the Q certificate of Tourism Quality, awarded by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE), after passing, with a note, the audit that this entity carried out at the beginning of the month of July. The beach, the only one that has this badge in the Canaries, hoisted this flag for the first time in 2013.
The Q of Tourism Quality not only recognizes respect for the environmental values and sustainability of ecosystems, but also evaluates the services offered by the arenal, such as rescue and first aid, citizen and tourist information, cleaning, selective collection of Waste, access, spas and accessibility, among others.
The destinations endorsed by the Q of Tourist Quality have undergone strict audits that prove that the provision of tourism services is carried out with professionalism and safety.
Las Canteras beach is one of the best rated in Spain and has, in addition to the Q of Quality, with the Blue Flag, the Environmental Management Certificate and the Universal Accessibility Certificate.
